The announcement noted that the Central Committee of Wa State Party (WSP), the Wa State Government, the Wa State United Army Headquarters, and the local ethnic population extended their congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief.

The statement highlighted General Ye Win Oo’s extensive experience in the field of defense and his high level of accountability. It further expressed confidence that, under his leadership, the military will strengthen national security and continue to work toward sustainable peace and development.
