Fighting has intensified between junta troops and the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) as the junta’s unit advances on the TNLA-controlled township of Kyaukme in northern Shan State, according to the frontline sources.

Fighting continues to intensify as junta troops press their offensive on Kyaukme, a township controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in northern Shan State, frontline sources told Shwe Phee Myay.

The junta’s military has completed repairs on the Goke Twin bridge, and clashes with the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) continue to intensify in Nawng Ping and Nawng Pyit Villages in Kyaukme, a township under control of it in northern Shan State, according to the frontline sources.

A junta artillery shelling killed a couple in Mat Man Kone Thar Village, Nar Aik Khant Village Tract, Kyaukme, a township controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in northern Shan State, according to the residents.

Today alone, the junta launched airstrikes on two villages on the Kyaukme–Mogok Road, in an area controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), according to the residents.
