The junta’s military carried out an airstrike on Kayar Gyi Village in Namhsan, a township controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in northern Shan State, according to the residents.

“Two bombs fell near the school. The other bombs also fell in Wards 4 and 7,” said a source on the ground.

He added that around 1:00 p.m. today, the Junta’s military dropped six bombs from a fighter jet.

The bombs were dropped on the school and the monastery inside Kayar Gyi village, where the school is open. Although it is assumed there may be casualties, Shwe Phee Myay is still investigating the information.

Previously, on October 4, a bombing attack on Zal Tone Hone village in Namhsan Township instantly killed two children and injured 18 people.

The junta’s military is continuing to bomb towns and villages controlled by the TNLA.
