“After the airstrike, people were hit. I heard the family from the house behind ours calling out for their mother, but she had already died. I didn’t know what to do. I was so worried about my child that I carried him along the road where people were shouting for help. Some people died. That night was horrible for me.”
Although Daw M Seng and two other family members fortunately escaped with their lives, they still must live with fear.
Around 1 a.m. on July 30, as people were sleeping, the junta’s military dropped two bombs from a fighter jet on the Yar Suthit (2) Hotel. The hotel is in Ward 2, Kutkai Township, a region controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in northern Shan State.

ကံကောင်းထောက်မစွာနဲ့ ဒေါ်အမ်ဆိုင်တို့သားအမိ ၃ ဦး အသက်ဘေးကနေ လွတ်မြောက်ခဲ့ပေမဲ့ လက်ရှိအချိန်ထိ စိုးရိမ်ကြောင့်ကြမှုတွေကြား ဆက်လက် ရှင်သန်နေရပါတယ်။
