Mone Kha Villagers Long For Medical Access
The people living in Mone Kha village, Manton Township, located on the remote edge of northern Shan State near the Kachin State border, have no access to healthcare due to its distance from clinics and hospitals.
When health issues arise, residents have to travel to Namhkam Township, where a hospital is located. This journey takes three hours by motorcycle during the dry season, but in the rainy season, the severe road conditions make travel time unpredictable, or even impossible.
