The junta’s military dropped a 250lb bomb on Mongngawt Town in Kyaukme, a township controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in northern Shan State, at around 11 a.m. today, residents told Shwe Phee Myay.
The attack resulted in 2 civilian deaths and 2 injuries, with a least 8 houses damaged.
“The bombs hit Tarlon Ward, just beyond the police station. Two 250lb bombs were dropped, followed by around four rocket-propelled grenades. The victims were a married couple—their bodies were torn apart,” said a resident.
Also on Tuesday, the junta’g military bombed Mal Hone Village in Monglon Town, killing at least 10 people, including children.
Furthermore, junta forces have continued intermittent bombing raids on Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Namtu, Namhsan, and Manton towns, resulting in significant civilian casualties.
